Furniture & textile reuse

Reusing furniture, textiles and household goods to help people and the environment

We operate a furniture and textile reuse project at our premises at Bridgend. We accept donations of furniture, household items, clothing, textiles (bedding, towels, curtains, for example), books, bric and bric, and a whole lot more. We also sell many of these items in our reuse shop (including furniture and nearly new clothes).

Furniture reuse is a fabulous way of giving someone else the chance to make use of the furniture you no longer want, and it prevents it going unnecessarily to landfill. All we ask is that it your donation is in usable condition. Soft furnishings must have a fire retardant label and there should be no sign of woodworm on products containing wood.

We also have an Ecover refill station for a variety of cleaning products and a range of BioBag’s including doggy waste bags at £3 for 50!!

Don’t hesitate to call and ask if we can accept any unwanted item or material you want to pass on. We can also arrange collection and delivery of goods. Call us on 01496 810880.

Our reuse shop is open Monday to Friday 9am-4.30pm (During the Winter 4pm) & alternate Saturdays 1pm to 4pm (open same week the Ileach newspaper comes out).

We’re based at Unit 11 Whin Park Industrial Estate, Bridgend, Isle of Islay, PA44 7NZ
